In just about 4 weeks I have the opportunity to have my first experience at a naturist resort. To say that I am excited is an understatement. After getting my first taste of in-person social nudity at the Dakota Hot Springs, I have been itching with excitement to go to a resort. I had planned to go last year before all of the lockdowns happened.
It is very difficult to find places to hike nude around Colorado without there being a ton of textiles around. The gawkers are super annoying and to have a place like a resort with places to hike with like-minded people is just amazing!
I will be visiting the Mountain Air Ranch (MAR) located near Littleton, Colorado. MAR has been the premiere clothing-free recreation resort for Colorado since 1935. The property is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains 20 miles southwest of Denver off of highway 285.
The activities at MAR include, hiking, a pool, exercise equipment, playground for the kids, paddle tennis, bocce ball, volleyball courts and indoor games like billiards, air hockey and video games. There are 10 miles of marked private mountain trails for those like myself who like to hike.
They also have on-site accommodations such as lodges, RV sites and tent camping sites. Although I won’t be staying on-site during this trip but I do plan to go there for an overnight stay later in the summer.
I am very excited for the opportunity to hike nude without any gawkers around. After I go on this day trip I will report back about my experience.
